SHOP WINDOW

Clearlight Himalayan Imports, run by Ian Stuart in partnership with Rinpoche's brother Salga, imports items from Nepal at very competitive prices.  Some of the proceeds go to BBG and to welfare and stupa projects in Tibet.  The shop is glowing with jewellery, incense and incense burners, malas, singing bowls and tingsha (little cymbals), mandala offering sets, bells and dorjes, buddha statues, and gorgeous thangkas painted by Salga, who is a renowned thangka painter.
The BBG bookshop carries a wide range of Buddhist titles, including many by HH the Dalai Lama, and all Ringu Tulku's books, including the Lazy Lama series, Mind Training (Lojong), and Path to Buddhahood – a commentary on Je Gampopa's classic work Jewel Ornament, which offers a thorough introduction to Buddhist practice.  We also have all of Alan Wallace's books.
We have audiotapes of Rinpoche's teachings in Emsworth this year on Emptiness, also tapes of Alan's teachings at the Wrekin Trust in Dorset on the Four Noble Truths (including guided meditations).  There are also tapes available of all visiting teachers to BBG in recent years, including Rinpoche, Alan Wallace, Shenpen Hookham, Andy Wistreich, Ajahn Sucitto, Geshe Tashi, Dirk de Klerk and many more – for a complete list, ask Ian.
SPECIAL: video of two highlights from Rinpoche's teachings on Emptiness: first, an introduction to the topic, and second, the response to an inspired question about how to do the practice – an experiential description of what it's like to actually be meditating on emptiness, suitable for use as a guided meditation.  Inspirational and very practical!  140 mins.  £8 from the shop, £10 by post.
