Bodhicharya Buddhist Group
Turning the Wheel of Dharma
Bodhicharya
Buddhist Group
The group is open to all who have an interest in Buddhism and meditation. Regular meetings for practice and study are held at Hamblin Hall, Bosham House, Bosham, near Chichester, W.Sussex. We welcome guest teachers and speakers from all the Buddhist traditions. Meetings are friendly and informal and people are encouraged to arrive early to relax and take a look at the bookstall and lending library; there's also an archive of recordings of teachings available to buy and borrow.
If you'd like to keep up to date with BBG and Bodhicharya events do check the websites: www.buddhalight.org and www.bodhicharya.org, and if you would like to receive updates by email (and are not already doing so) please contact Fiona MacDonald at fmacd@tesco.net.
PEACE VIGIL – SOUTHAMPTON
PRAYER FOR PEACE
To mark HH Dalai Lama’s Birthday, Bodhicharya Buddhist Group, Southampton held a
Peace Vigil at the Queens Peace Fountain on Sunday 6th July 2008. Our aim was to
carry HH Dalai Lamas message of peace and non-violence and show our solidarity for
those in Tibet, whilst remembering those who continue to live in oppressed & violent
circumstances through-out the world.
